Friday 6th April 2012
10am – 4pm: Immersion course programme, see immersion page for
details
6pm: Gates open, international food stalls, markets and street performance begins
6.30 – 7pm: Jambalaya Opening Ceremony
7:30 – 9pm: New Zealand Dance Showcase. Featuring performances from teams, couples and solo artists from all over New Zealand.
7:30 – 9pm: Music performances on the veranda stage
9pm – 11 pm: Dance jam party
9pm – 11 pm: DJ’s, samba band, performances
11pm – 1am: Salsa room, zouk room, tango room, burlesque and belly dancing tent and late night DJ’s.
Saturday 7th April
10am – 5pm: Open level dance and music workshops every
hour in all styles from belly to hip-hop, swing and tango, a
Capella, percussion, ukulele and more.
10am – 1pm OR 2pm – 5pm: Immersion courses continue (one half of the day only)
10am – 7.30pm: Performances, bands, theatre, art, kids zone, international food and markets
7:30 – 8:30 pm: International Dance Showcase. Featuring the teachers from our immersion courses and other incredible world class dancers
9pm - 12 midnight: Main stage acts (see artist page for details)
9pm – close: Salsa room, zouk room, tango room, burlesque and belly dancing tent and late night DJ’s
Sunday 8th April
10am – 5pm: Open level dance and music workshops every hour in all styles from belly to hip-hop, swing and tango, a capella, percussion, ukulele and more
10am – 1pm OR 2pm – 5pm: Immersion courses continue (one half of the day only)

7:30 – 8:30pm: Immersion course show 'n' tell. Featuring the teachers from our immersion courses and other incredible world class dancers
8:30pm: Carnival party!! Get dressed up for a massive night of music, dance and celebration
12 midnight: Finish
