Immersion Courses
Friday 6th, Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th April, 2012
These extremely popular intensive courses are designed to give enthusiasts of specific genres of music and dance an opportunity for concentrated learning with expert international teachers, who are in town for the festival. The beautiful thing about Jambalaya is that it is an organic and ever-changing festival that is able to respond to your needs. Due to feedback from YOU, we are now holding Immersion Courses for three days during the main festival. This means you don't have to take any extra time off work, you are fully immersed in the festival atmosphere and your Immersion Course ticket gains you free entry to the entire festival – making it excellent value!
We have carefully programmed the immersion courses for a full day on Friday and two half days on both Saturday and Sunday, allowing you time to explore the festival and take part in additional workshops (if you still have energy left!!). You will also have the evenings off to watch the shows and join the parties.
Beautiful bush surrounded camping is available for the duration of the festival for $30.00 pp regardless of how many nights you stay. The campsite will be open for Immersion Course ticket holders from Thursday 5th April. The camp ground has flushing toilets, hot showers and 24 hour security. Children 12 and under camp free.
Note: These courses will only run if we have sufficient numbers. A full refund will be available in the unlikely event that your course is cancelled.
Book quickly to avoid disappointment – Many of these courses sell out every year!
